Predator Ridge is located in an area referred to as a Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) zone. The wildland urban interface is typically described as the area where human development meets or intermingles with the natural environment. When we live, work and play in WUI zones, we become more exposed to the danger of wildfire, but it is possible to live safely with this natural event. Due to our increasing drier and hotter summers, the risk of wildfire in our interface zone is increasing dramatically. The best way to protect our community is to turn on your outside lights at dusk. Keeping your lights on at night for one month costs you the equivalent of a large cup of coffee!! A very small price to pay for our peace of mind.
